The Wait Is Difficult lyrics

I wouldn't want for you, oh Lord To come just yet Your people are not ready Not everyone is saved Oh wait, do not come For your call to the wedding feast Is not proclaimed everywhere And the far guest hasn't arrived But to wait, to wait is hard My spirit is constrained in the chains of this earth And from my chest comes a moan Oh Lord, come quickly I wouldn't want for you, oh lord To come just yet My work is not done yet And the far guest hasn't arrived The hearts are not yet softened By the oil of your spirit The sons of this earth Do not respect you as their God
