Hold On 歌詞

I try to see your good intentions Why I cannot reach your heart I know our love isn't what it used to be And now, after all we've said and done How do we keep the rising Sun from shutting down? Are we what we pretend to be? And we couldn't find What we were looking for We failed to read The writing on the wall So we tried to hold on Tried to hold on For a while we thought we had it all, a thousand lies They only fed the height that couldn't last Are we what we pretend to be? And we couldn't find What we were looking for We failed to read The writing on the wall So we tried to hold on Tried to hold on For they were right All along And I couldn't see I should've let you known So we tried to hold on Tried to hold on Somehow, it all fell apart And we knew it right from the start And we couldn't find What we were looking for We failed to read The writing on the wall So we tried to hold on Tried to hold on For they were right All along And I couldn't see I should've let you known So we tried to hold on Tried to hold on
