I pass the gates, forevermore free of pain and of torment. Now, for the first time, I can see the world clearly, cured of a poisoned mind. Not one of them ever understood me, no one even truly wanted to. The cruelty of mankind is sickening. Blood-thirsty vultures glide through the air, awaiting your collapse to get the chance to reave the flesh of your corpse. A comforting breath of the wind caresses me in the moonlight as I walk firmly into the fondling darkness. Briefly, I glance back to see the gates close. I know I made the right decision. There's nothing in this world I'd miss, nothing worth crying for. Only pain remains in the past, scorched in my memories (and buried within me).
