Songtext von Duckie's Lament

A butterfly on her lower back Was never classy and they called her a skank But she was My deity I saw her shopping at the end of the aisle With kids that needed to be tranquilized And it's hard To see her now Life's no filmstrip Good guys don't win And some girls are born to abuse I'll never hold her in her favorite dress Once, a Duckie tried so much to impress Till she fucked All of my friends Life's no filmstrip Good guys don't win And some girls are born to abuse Stoned, no confidence No car, no prospects If more and asshole than a friend You could have been struggling Broke and pregnant
